Dr Vibha Mahajan did her medical graduation from SN Medical College and Hospital, Agra. Subsequently she did her Masters in Anesthesiology (MD) from the GSVM Medical College, Kanpur.

She is ex senior registrar from Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow. In 2016 she joined Tagore hospital and heart care center as senior Consultant Anesthesiology in the Department of Anesthesia, Pain Palliative care.

She did her fellowship in palliative care from Indian Society of pain & palliative care AIIMS, New Delhi and her observership in pain medicine from Sir Ganga Ram institute, New Delhi & Tata Memorial Cancer Institute, Mumbai, She is a life member of indian Society of Pain and Palliative Care & Indian Society of Anesthesiology.

She has a vast experience of perioperative anesthesia care for last 20 years. She is taking care of all type of anesthesia for various surgical procedures like laproscopic, bariatric, neurosurgery, cancer surgeries, orthopedic surgeries, urology, including kidney transplant, ENT, daycare anesthesia, ambulatory anesthesia and maternal child care surgeries. She is taking care of anesthesia even for high risk cases. she is taking care of acute pain management in post operative patients. She is managing post operative anesthesia care unit for better outcome of surgical patients. She is running a pre anesthesia check-up clinic for adequate pre operative optimization of surgical patients.

Presently she is taking responsibility of teaching of DNB students. She is a part of various quality programs of the hospital including peri operative clinical safety, infection control, work place safety, etc.

She is having interest in managing patients with chronic pain, complex regional pain syndrome, cancer pain, neuropathic pain and myofascial complex pain. Cancer pain and palliative care of cancer patients and rehabilitation at home is the need of the hour and she is planning to start the same in the near future.
