• The hospital has the unique distinction of performing the following operation for the first time in the world.That is first to use of Radial Artery in a Popliteal bypass operation to save as ischemic leg (Published in Texas Heart Institute Journal U.S.A 1999, Indian Heart Journal 1999 and Journal of Vascular Surgery U.S.A. 2000). The achievement has been published in Limca Book of World Records 2000.
• The Hospital Diabetic Foot Care Clinic was established by World Diabetic Federation & was awarded first prize in competition titled, “Saving the Diabetic limb from Amputation” in 2005. Best Diabetic Foot Care Clinic (by World Diabetic Federation).
• P.G.I. Alumni Award for Excellence in Medical & Social Field.
